About the Role:

* Work with UX, Systems, Mechanical and Electronic functions to determine, analyse and document requirements to be developed by the Software team
* Support the software lead in managing the backlog

O Document the detailed user stories

* Lead test

O Develop and document the test strategy.

O Write, review, and execute test cases

O Manage test process - conduct testing on instruments, triage, manage issues

O Support the development of a test automation plan

* Use agile scrum process and Azure DevOps to manage work
* Provide regular and timely feedback on work estimates and progress
* Prepare and review formal test documents, especially test plans and test reports
* Support software and systems engineering teams with trouble shooting, characterization and validation activities for prototypes and sub-systems
* Engage in continuous improvement of test process and practice enhancement

Skills / Experience Required:

* The successful candidate will have a minimum level 8 degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or related discipline
* At least 4 years' experience in a software test role - in both firmware and application level software
* Experience with firmware testing tools
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others in a multi-disciplinary team
* Knowledge and/or experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development is expected
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Should be self-directed with effective time management skills

Nice-to-haves:

* Background or experience in medical device development
