DAY RATE CONTRACT

PFH is currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer who will be involved in implementing, configuring, managing, and monitoring network and firewall solutions for a geographically dispersed, high-availability enterprise environment. The successful candidate will leverage demonstrated experience in network engineering, threat management, and vulnerability management, coupled with proven subject matter expertise in Palo Alto and Cisco suites of products, to support cybersecurity requirements and objectives.

Required Education, Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network technology, network administration, cybersecurity, information security, or similar discipline
* 4+ years of experience with LAN/ WLAN and Firewall technologies

Required Qualifications:

* Hands on experience in:

* Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls
* HPE Aruba LAN and Wi-Fi

* Ability to communicate effectively, while conveying highly technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
* Capacity to thrive in a complex environment with competing demands while delivering consistent, high-quality commitment to mission-critical systems and solutions
* Excellent analytic skills, including qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support and defend data-driven decision-making regarding system threats, vulnerabilities, and risk
* Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, practices, and requirements
* 2+ years' experience implementing, configuring, and monitoring next-generation firewalls (NGFWs), intrusion prevention systems (IPSs), and anomaly detection systems (ADSs) in support of physical, virtualized, and containerized environments
* Experience configuring disaster recovery (DR) environments.

Desired Qualifications:

* Systems architecture, engineering, and networking experience, with certifications such as SSCP, Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, GISF, GCED, GPPA, and GDSA
* Experience with Cisco routers/switches and Palo Alto firewall solutions
* Knowledge of the following technologies a bonus:

* F5 local traffic manager (LTM) and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
* VMWare NSX
* Dell Networking
