Application Support Engineer
I am currently working with a Global Fintech organisation to help find their next Application Support Engineer. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 2 years of technical support in a fast-paced environment and is looking to expand their knowledge base with SQL, Security and Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor ticket flow and prioritise tickets/incidents as required
* Act as an initial contact for clients and triage issues accordingly
* Troubleshoot issues and escalate as required
* Support projects which deliver upgrades and partner configuration to the production environment
* Play a key part in testing, delivering and implementing changes to production
* Provide frequent updates to clients to ensure the highest level of support is maintained
* Support transactional process and switch processing production along with lower environments when required
Key Requirements:
* 2 Years' experience in a Fast paced IT Support role
* Strong database experience in SQL, MYSQL, Oracle
* Previous experience supporting cloud environments ideally Google or Amazon
* Previous experience working with various monitoring tools i.e. Splunk, OP5 etc
* Network/Network security experienced is preferred
* Python knowledge (non-essential)
* Client/customer focused
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
