Aspira are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst with SAP and Supply Chain experience to work on a project in the Life Sciences sector in Cork.
This is a 6 months’ contract, remote initially, with regular on-site presence at the Cork site required post-restrictions.
Role
The project is a full SAP S/4HANA suite implementation. The successful candidate will join a global team working on the clients Integrated Supply Chain Program (ISCP). They will serve as a liaison between the business community and the program in order to provide solutions to meet user needs.
They will be required to work with business partners within the ISCP to align technology solutions with business strategies, and to work across organizational, cultural and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results.
Responsibilities
- Execute analysis for opportunity requests
- Plan, lead and support assessments in collaboration with the business to determine scope, business capabilities, technology roadmap and enablement strategy for supply chain
- Drive analysis efforts for initial business case, resource ROM, prioritisation, and categorisation
- Compile analysis materials for steering committee review and present
- Executes business case updates during discovery phase
- Participates in business / user requirements gathering sessions to define scope
- Evaluate business processes, uncovering areas for improvement, anticipating and analysing user requirements
- Supports documentation of process flows for current state and future state
- Documents / maintains user requirements / use cases
- Provides user requirements to development team for functional requirements definition
- Participate in design reviews
- Participate in test scenario definition
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support the project rollout on deployment and hyper care tasks
- Support value affirmation analysis once the project is operational
- Keep up-to-date on the latest process, industry standards, best practices and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems
- Effectively serve as a communication and change agent to ensure alignment across stakeholders, users and technical teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, BIS or equivalent (Masters’ preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst
- Certified in Business Analysis (e.g. from IIBA) and Agile (e.g. SAFe/Scrum)
- Proficient in the use of Access, Excel (Advanced), Visio and MS Project
- Strong Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare business experience
- IT Solution Design experience
- Supply Chain experience
- SAP implementation experience, preferably S/4HANA full suite
- Strong Quality experience in a Supply Chain environment
- Works under minimal direction while providing visibility to progress and issues in a structured manner
- Strong business acumen
- Strong data analysis skills
- Knowledge of planning (clinical and commercial)
- Customer Interfacing experience - project oversight, customer presentation
- Functional understanding and application of principles, theories, and concepts, aligning with understanding of business needs
- General knowledge of other related disciplines
- Understanding of functional aspect of systems in the relevant area, along with issues and other aspects
- Technical system expertise and understanding of architectural issues
- Strong communication and excellent research skills and learning agility to understand internal business process, best practices and translate into technology needs/opportunities
- Specific experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma/Medical Devices/Healthcare industries is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication including strong presentation and group speaking skills
- Exposure to Project Management methodologies.
- Understanding of technologies that support supply chain
