Aspira are currently seeking Business Analyst with SAP and Supply Chain experience to work on a project in the Life Sciences sector in Cork.

This is a 6 months’ contract, remote initially, with regular on-site presence at the Cork site required post-restrictions.

Role

The project is a full SAP S/4HANA suite implementation. The successful candidate will join a global team working on the clients Integrated Supply Chain Program (ISCP).

They will be required to work with business partners within the ISCP to align technology solutions with business strategies, and to work across organizational, cultural and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Site and Distribution team
  • Assist in the development of operational functional requirements and business process flow architecture of Demand and Supply functions, globally and locally
  • Manages business expectations to correctly identify needs and evaluate business solutions for Ireland operations within the ISCP
  • Facilitate business process development and solution deployment in the areas of Demand Planning, Supply Commits, Capacity Management, Site Scheduling
  • Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to such specifications
  • Own the documentation maintenance of the business specifications (process flows, Quality Center test scripts and requirements, Training Material)
  • Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
  • Provide direct input into project planning to ensure the success of new releases and enhancements
  • Ensure enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Lead testing efforts and ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with internal staff and contractors to identify required changes
  • Participate in worldwide configuration change control process
  • Manage the communication of these changes to the development team
  • Provide direct input into the sustainability model for the solutions being deployed
  • Provide and facilitate development of solutions into a range of complex business problems
  • Facilitate meetings and teams in pursuit of business improvements
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest process, industry standards, best practices and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems
  • Effectively serve as a communication and change agent to ensure alignment across stakeholders, users and technical teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, BIS or equivalent (Masters’ preferred)
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare experience
  • Certified in Business Analysis (e.g. from IIBA) and Agile (e.g. SAFe/Scrum)
  • Proficient in the use of Access, Excel (Advanced), Visio and MS Project
  • Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain Management and ERP systems, preferably experience working with Oracle E-Business suite, or SAP
  • Understanding and experience in Business Processes (Plan-to-Deliver, Plan-to-Make, Order-to- Cash)
  • Would be considered an advantage:
    • Experience of working with Oracle’s Demantra application (for Demand) and Kinaxis Rapid Response (for Supply) is an advantage
    • Lean/Six Sigma Black-Belt active certification is an advantage
    • APICS CPIM and CSCP active certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including strong workshop, presentation and group speaking skills
  • Ability to work under minimal direction while providing visibility to progress and issues in a structured manner
  • Ability to determine and develop approach to complex solutions within the context of ISCP project management and business requirements
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively
  • Exposure to Project Management methodologies
  • International travel may be required as defined by business needs
