FRS Recruitment are delighted to announce an exciting new Business Information Systems Manager role with one of our Engineering clients based in Dublin. You will be required to be onsite 5 days per week to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with all key stakeholders re:
* Key business processes & procedures
* How / if key processes are mapped on systems
* Key challenges using current systems, key bottlenecks, and issues
* Priorities of new system, objectives, benefits & solutions envisaged
* Headcount reporting
* Document all business processes & procedures
* List key processes
* Document on and off system procedures
* Identify specific areas of challenge on current systems and key areas requiring manual intervention
* Survey all potential ERP solutions
* Review potential solutions available
* Research key strengths and weaknesses of available solutions
* List ERP solutions with a view to identifying
* Assemble a list of key objectives & deliverables for new ERP system across a range of parameters
* Assess ERP solutions against list of objectives & reduce options to a shortlist
* Engage with shortlist of providers and facilitate presentations to steering committee of each solution
* Provide recommendations on ERP solution and facilitate selection of favoured solution
* Engage with selected product provider and implementation partner(s) and agree pricing methodology
* Design and execute upon ERP implementation plan
* Managing training plan and new starter training
* Manage post implementation training, updates, and acclimatisation as well as documenting user manuals
* Liaise with business and ERP provider / implementation partner to optimally leverage automation across the business
* Currency accounting
* Portal access for invoice submission
* Bank file uploads
* Bank rec upload to ledger
* Auto accruals (retention)
* Portal exchange of valuations / certificates
* Ensure reporting functionality is of required level of sophistication and delivers on all reporting objectives
* Recommend and implement expense management tool that integrates with ERP solution
* Manage ERP solution post implementation
* Liaise with business on an ongoing basis to identify system requirements and improvements and implement in a timely manner
* Utilize existing ERP solution or identify add-on tool for use in budgeting & forecasting
* Identify BI functionality of ERP solution or add-ons available from same vendor for later implementation
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Experience in the implementation of an ERP system
* Experience in business process documentation and business process re-engineering
* Experience with different ERP solutions and with leveraging automation
* Experience in centralized group function and exposure to tax and treasury management
Qualifications:
* Project management understanding / qualification
* IT related qualification(s)
