Go2web Ltd., one of the leading web site design and hosting companies in Ireland, is looking for a new member to join the technical department. A position is available for an accomplished IT graduate with good Linux system knowledge and experience.
The company is currently working on an ambitious scheme of redundant hardware architecture installed at our co-location facility in Servecentric, Blanchardstown. This location hosts the company's cloud architecture where all services are hosted.
The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all technical aspects of the company's operations. Responsibilities are split between development of new / existing web and system applications and management of primarily Linux infrastructure. This includes work in the following areas:
Develop existing infrastructure of multiple real & virtual servers to enhance reliability, capacity and ease of administration.
Implementation of a fault-tolerant architecture for web applications, DNS and Email.
Take part in design and development of custom web applications.
Our technical department is based in the company's premises in Howth, Co. Dublin. The job will entail both web application development and maintenance/development of existing servers / services at both facilities.
This position would suit a new or recent IT graduate with a good degree and interested in a challenging job with the opportunity to learn fast in a interesting and flexible role.
