IT Support Specialist (Level 2) – Fixed Term contract, Dublin
IT Support Specialist Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for an IT Support Specialist to work on their large client site in Dublin city centre. The ideal candidate will have excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills and experience in both Hardware and software support .
What’s involved:
- Level 2 technical support specialist in a Helpdesk environment
- Resolving client and server issues as assigned
- Monitoring and maintenance of system stability and performance of production systems
- Performing system software upgrades, testing, and coordination
- System Administration dashboard/status reports
- Working as a part of a small team in a shift pattern.
What you need:
- 5 Years’ experience in a similar roles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, Active Directory an advantage
- Experience working with a wide range to supported services on a network Microsoft Server/Client network to include messaging, backup, antivirus and asset management technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SQL & SAN Technologies, Microsoft Server 2008/2012
- Experience in a large client server environment
