£30,000 - £35,000 Plus Car & Pension Scheme

As an Information Security Consultant, you’ll be responsible for assisting customers to comply with information security standards, such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.

In this important role, you’ll advise customers on a wide range of information security and general cyber security matters. You’ll help customers to develop information security management systems and integrate these with established systems.

You will support customers with vulnerability management and in the development of information security policies and controls. Additionally, you’ll assist with the ongoing development of our client’s information security services.

As part of your role, you may be required to travel to sites throughout the UK and Ireland.

To be considered, you must have:

- Experience of implementing and maintaining information security management systems, such as ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials
- Knowledge of current information security protocols and practices and cyber security risks and controls
- The ability and willingness to work in other areas and standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 20000
- The ability and willingness to assist with the development of information security related services
- A full, valid driving licence

Analytical and pragmatic, as an Information Security Consultant, you must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills. Exceptional planning, prioritisation and time-management abilities are also key, as is the ability to interact with customers and build strong working relationships.

A degree level qualification would be beneficial, as would experience in business continuity planning and associated standards, such as ISO 22301. Experience of ISO 9001 and ISO 20000 would also be advantageous, as would technical experience, including pen testing and/or vulnerability management.
