This role is Perfect for an experienced Product Leader who wants to take a Software Technology industry pioneer through its next phase of growth.

Are you an experienced Product Manager and can lead on Product Direction?
This opportunity is with a global technology company, is offering a Senior Product Management position that will be reporting directly to the MD.

More about the Product Manager role:
• The Product Manager will be responsible for the success of the full product suite at the company, from overall product strategy to specific product requirements through to delivery to the market and end of life
• You will have a strong background in Product Management and be a cross-functional, strategic thinker with the proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions to the market
• This role will be instrumental in conceiving, defining, planning, and executing on a product strategy that directly contributes to the organization’s success



What you will be responsible for as Product Manager:
• You will be leading on product direction and will act as the ‘evangelist’ of your products, internally and externally
• Own the full product lifecycle, from concept/vision to delivery to market to post-release and end of life
• Lead on product strategy and roadmap by tracking customer requirements, competitive trends regulatory changes and consumer behaviour
• Work closely with the leadership and strategy teams to translate the organisational strategy, business/market requirements, product backlog and portfolio investment plan into a product portfolio vision and roadmap
• Effectively translate the product vision and roadmap into product requirements for each initiative, including functional needs, supported use cases/workflows constraints, and success criteria
• Ensure all the portfolio’s release candidates meet product requirements
• Collaborate with customers, internal teams and throughout the product life cycle to ensure new solutions meet our business and market objectives
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, throughout the product life cycle to ensure new solutions meet our business and market objectives establishing realistic estimates whilst ensuring that projects remain on target
• Develop and regularly maintain a data-driven product backlog to deliver on the product vision and roadmap
• Regularly collect market input (customers, sales, service, competitive intelligence, etc.) and update the backlog accordingly
• Conduct feasibility analysis (ROI, etc.), business case development and build/buy/partner evaluations
• Work together with stakeholders, ensuring teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and can balance resources to deliver effectively by establishing realistic estimates whilst ensuring that projects remain on target
• Clearly communicate the larger product vision and specific product requirements across the organization, from senior executives to agile team members
• Collaborate with Marketing and other business functions to execute 'go to market' plans including packaging, pricing, and collateral
• Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career
• Represent company’s thought leadership at industry and customer events



What my client is looking from you as a Product Manager:
• Educated to Degree level, you are an experienced and proven leader with around 10 years’ experience in a similar role
• You have proven strategic and operational capabilities, developing and implementing the strategies required to innovate, preferably within the financial services marketplace
• You have the capacity to give experienced direction and bring focus to product development, establishing clear objectives and deliverables, while harnessing and leveraging the inherent experience that already exists
• You have experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, including Industry trade bodies and groups, as well as regulatory authorities. The ability to be able to balance stakeholder expectations within a pragmatic road map and provide guidance where necessary is highly valued
• You can demonstrate proven ability to dynamically allocate resource under pressure in a fast-changing day-to-day operational environment
• You have a high degree of customer empathy with proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product improvements
• This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in UK and Ireland (25%)
