Job Description:
They are looking to recruit an additional software engineer for the following role:
* Implement and document software to extend our core platform (new features and support for new online payment interfaces)
* Support our customers and our non-technical staff with their EMV or card-related needs
* Liase with other teams in Dublin, Leiden (NL) and Atlanta (US)
Skills Required:
* Experience with real-time transactional systems
* Strong technical EMV knowledge
* Ability to troubleshoot EMV issues with transaction logs
* Ability to read, understand and implement software from specification documents
* Ability to work in an autonomous manner, self-test and deliver projects on time
* Prioritising and managing tasks
Additional skills:
* Understanding of ISO8583
* Knowledge of ISO20022
* Knowledge of e-Commerce processing (including 3D-Secure)
* Knowledge of open banking APIs
* Knowledge of transaction processing systems like BASE24, Connex, Postilion or similar
The candidate should also have a good general knowledge of information technology including:
* MS SQL Server - installation, configuration, Transact-SQL
* MS Windows - drivers, general troubleshooting
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and firewalls
Education & Experience:
* 3 years software development experience
* Good communication skills (Fluent spoken English and good written English).
* Experience with payment card authorization protocols (terminal or host-to-host) a plus
