What are we looking for?

This role resides within the customer onboarding team and is critical to Origina's continued success. Our customer onboarding team is responsible for the smooth transition of customers to our support service.

The IBM Software Product Specialist role…

This role is suited to someone with a mind-set and passion for research and analytics. The successful candidate will be the go-to person within the organization for information pertaining to IBM software products, their function, how they are licensed, their history and their support lifecycle.

Our ideal candidate for this role should be a self-motivator. He/she should be a people person and team player with a track record for providing quality customer support.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the attention to detail that is required to be able to deliver at this level, manage a broad number of support queries at any one time, and to be able to back this up with relevant experience.

 

Responsibilities of the IBM Product Specialist

·         They will regularly engage with our clients in carrying out IBM product & licensing assessments and the compilation of clear, concise and detailed reports.

·         Develop and maintain database/wiki of intellectual property and knowledge relating to IBM software products.

·         Understand how the various IBM software products are licensed.

·         Assist in the onboarding of clients to our support model.

·         Assist the sales team with client queries about IBM products.

·         Keep abreast of IBM product announcement changes

·         Maintenance of our customer IBM product support list

Required Skills:

·         Candidates with a solid knowledge with IBM software products, possess good communication skills and a demonstrable background in providing world-class customer service will be at a distinct advantage, but not a requirement. Previous presentation experience would be advantageous, but again not essential.

·         Fluent English Speaker and right to live and work in Ireland/Europe.

·         Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.​

·         Reliable, confident and articulate

·         Exceptional interpersonal ability

·         Strong work ethic

·         Highly driven individual with a mind-set for research & analytics

·         The ideal candidate will be tenacious, detail-orientated and thorough throughout.

·         Excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills.

Benefits:

Type:                Full time position following 6 month probation and satisfactory review.

Salary:             €20,000 per annum + paid holidays + subsistence expenses where applicable.

Hours:              Standard working hours are 09:00 – 17:30.
