Java Developers

Our client a healthcare company based in Donegal requires a number of Java Developers for their expanding business.

Technical Skills:

  • Should have executed the complete SDLC on project. and Break Fix Process.
  • Should have experience on Java / Servlets, DB2, Oracle.
  • Should have experience with some of the following technologies: Server technologies (Unix), Client technologies (HTML, DHTML, XML, Websphere (servlet container) )
  • Should be able to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute). Should have idea about configuration management tools like TortoiseSVN
  • Resource should have around 3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft technologies with good knowledge on below technologies.
    • Java / Servlets – around 3 years
    • Websphere (servlet container) – 1.5 years
    • HTML, XML – 1.5 years
    • Unit testing – 2 years
    • Configuration management tools – 2 years
    • DB2 / Oracle – 2 years

Soft Skills:

  • Significant experience in a single complex development environment or across multiple platforms.
  • Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and other team members.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Participate in walk through, inspection, review & onshore group meetings
  • Ensure compliance to Project defined standards & processes.
  • Able to interpret the given technical design into application language.
  • Convert the functional design given by onshore into the technical design and implement the changes are suggested.
  • Own the development environment for the project under execution.
  • Should be able to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute).
  • Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within SDLC.
