This is a permanent key position within our support function.

(1st/2nd Line In house Customer Support Specialist)

The successful candidate will assist in the provision of support to FutureRange customers in a busy helpdesk environment. Excellent communication skills are a must have and experience of working in a similar environment is a big advantage.

Primary position responsibilities will be:

 

Ø      Provide telephone, remote and email support to FutureRange customers

 

Ø      Logging calls, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, network and software issues

 

Ø      Provide support to Citrix product suite infrastructures

 

Ø      Monitor remote backups and systems

 

Ø      Meet Service Level Agreements obligations

 

Ø      Delivering and working towards IT best practice processes and procedures

 

Ø      Delivering a positive experience for our customers through product knowledge and attention to detail.


Candidate Requirements:


·         Relevant 3rd Level Qualification ideal with 3+ years’ on the job experience in a similar role within a busy Helpdesk environment

·         Citrix Certified Administrator CCA CCIA is desirable

 

·         Experience working within Citrix XenApp 5.0, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.X

 

·         Netscaler 10 Access Gateway Enterprise

 

·         Good understanding of networking solutions, TCP/IP, LAN,WAN

 

·         Good knowledge and experience of Windows 7/ Windows 8, Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2

 

·         Solid foundation understanding of Active Directory (GPO)

 

·         Comfortable working across a multi-disciplined IT environment

 

·         A confident and self-motivated team player

 

·         Excellent people skills

 

·         Excellent planning skills

 

·         Flexible can do attitude, with a positive customer focus

 

·         Willingness to undergo training on new technologies and stay up to date with qualification requirements within capacity of carrying out their duties.
