PC Support & Sales Person required (must also train/install/source all products) Date: 1985

We are currently looking for an experienced MS DOS support engineer & Sales Person who can help our clients with the following applications:

WordStar
Lotus 123
Paradox
DBase 3
Take 5 Accounts

Operating systems:
MS DOS 2.0
CPM
SCO Unix running on Altos Unix servers with Wyse monitors

If you have any experience with Novell (3.2) Networks, that would be an added bonus – up to 10 users.

You will also be expected to install 10 MB and even 20 MB hard drives to our range of Amstrad 1512’s and 1640’s with 512K of Ram - (IBM Compatible with new LCD screens) which currently come with single and dual drive 5¼ and 3.5 inch drives (capacity 360 kb).

Printers include Epson & OKI dot matrix printers & the new Laser printers with 8K of RAM.

In addition you will be expected to install maths Co-Processors speeding up the Pc’s ability to run complex software such as Flight Simulator and AutoCAD 3.

You will also be expected to sell all of the above to various businesses in the Dublin Area – target £ 10K punts per month.

You will also be expected to train users in how to use all of the above as well as install all equipment.

You will also be expected to source all of these products at the best available price.

Salary 10K per year with bonus at Christmas of 10 pints of Furstenberg and 20 Major.
