Application Support Engineer

Abrivia Recruitment are looking to recruit a Application Support Engineer for a company based in Dublin City. This individual will provide support to the company's clients and internal sales team. The role requires working on a broad range of tasks in the areas of product deployment, managed services delivery, and technical support.

Responsibilities:

* Provide remote and onsite installation and delivery of the company's products to customer
* Provide remote and onsite delivery of Managed Service with the company's software
* Provide support to resolve customer facing issues and answer questions from users about the features and capabilities of our solutions
* Be the single point of contact for customer issues ensuring overall customer satisfaction and total resolution of each delivery or support incident
* Act as liaison with customers regarding the status of their requests and log, track customer issues, and communicates status back to the customer
* Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team
* Provide remote and onsite customer training
* Contribute to the development of operational processes, procedures, best practices, and methods
* Communicate customer needs and wishes to our development and project management team

Requirements:

* Third level Degree
* 2 plus' years exp of supporting software applications
* Microsoft technologies Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Exchange, SharePoint

* Network architecture, Active Directory, Firewalls
* WEB Applications, IIS
* Databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
