Propylon are currently looking for a Senior Python/Django Developer. This is a challenging role involving software design, implementation and maintenance using the best software engineering practices.

Essential

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 yrs exp using Python as an object-oriented language
- 3 yrs exp oriented design and programming
- 3 yrs exp of Linux
- 1 yrs exp - Django Web Framework
- Knowledge of Git

Desirable:

- Relational database servers
- Experience with (HTML5, LESS, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS)
- Exp in deploying applications using pip, WSGI, zc.buildout
- TCP and HTTP
- Knowledge of REST and exp building RESTful applications
- Systems security (especially for web-based solutions)
