This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled software developer from an embedded background looking to put their skills to the test within a rapidly expanding, highly innovative company.

Joining our client’s state-of-the-art Dublin-based facility, you’ll have the chance to work on a range of challenging projects to maintain the company’s leading reputation.

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing platform drivers, as well as undertaking server management activities.

Managing the full software development lifecycle, you’ll play a hands-on role in the requirements planning stages, as well as analysis, design, development, testing and support activities.

Using best in class processes throughout development, you’ll ensure that all project tasks are completed in a timely manner and within the required deadlines.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- At least five years’ experience of software development gained within an embedded environment
- Linux Kernel, device driver and/or user space experience
- UEFI experience
- Experience of large system debugging
- A degree in electronics, software engineering or a related IT discipline
- Excellent English communication skills

Innovative and ambitious, as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you must have strong organisation, multi-tasking and time management skills with an analytical approach and excellent eye for detail.

Experience of CAN, IPMI and Linux shell scripting would be beneficial to your application.
