My client a leading global organization has an excellent opportunity for a .Net Developer to join their team based in Cork on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Consult with internal clients and external partners to gather requirements about program needs, objectives, functions, and features;
* Review and analyze specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included;
* Analyze and define, requirements for data, workflow, business processes, etc;
* Document the Business Requirements and System Designs as required
* Develop appropriate solutions (interfaces, applications, etc.) from Business Requirements and System Designs;
* Modify existing solutions that have been developed to conform to system changes or to make desired improvements;
* Advise and work with clients to resolve specific problems or make changes to existing solutions;
* Write and maintain documentation including development logic, coding, testing, changes, corrections, and end user-documentation;
* Cross-train other (as needed) for development and maintenance;
* Perform end-to-end incident tracking, root cause analysis to manage project issues;
* Coordinate communication between business and external vendors and distribute deliverable
* Track process progression and monitor outstanding items for follow-up and completion.
* Develop standard and ad-hoc reports
* Monitor and analyze reports to identify trends
Skills Required:
* Bachelor's degree technology
* Ability to work under pressure and meet various deadlines;
* Excellent Verbal, Written, and Interpersonal Skills;
* Work as part of a team, and be able to work independently
* Presentation technologies (DHTML/HTML,);
* Solid understanding of Object Oriented Principles (OOP), especially inheritance and abstraction;
* Visual Studio: C# / ASP.NET development;
* Experience with MS SQL Server ( 2005/2008 R2, 2012);
* Proficient SQL;
* Web Development;
* Query and report writing (SSRS) is desirable but not essential
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and accuracy;
* Strong interpersonal communication skills;
* Ability to work with all levels of management and external service providers;
* Problem solving and analytical skillls
