HiberniaEvros are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer to work, on a contract basis, with an existing development team on our Customer site in Dublin.

Overview of required experience: (a more detailed spec is available, on request)
Developing enterprise Java applications in a Business Environment
Development of JAVA/J2EE applications
J2EE frameworks such as Spring and Apache Struts 2
Deployment and administration of J2EE Application Servers and Frameworks, e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, Spring Security etc
Object-Oriented concepts, Design Patterns and UML
Maven, ANT, Eclipse, Subversion, JUnit
JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and XML
Relational databases (DB2) and JDBC / SQL
JSP/Servlets
Software development lifecycles
Agile project approach

Desirable:
iBatis Framework.
JAXB (XML interfaces based on XSD).
IBM Websphere Studio Application Developer (or similar tool).
IBM Websphere Application Server v5, v6 & v7.
IBM Websphere MQ.
Software development tools like Hudson and Jira.
Knowledge of webservices.
iSeries/AS400.
Oracle's ATG Web Commerce.

Education and Qualifications
Degree educated or experience led equivalent.
ITIL foundation.
A recognised technical qualification.
At least 5 years relevant experience in Java/J2EE application development.
Demonstrable understanding and several years’ experience of applications management requirements.
