The Basics: In today’s market, a business that wants to be successful must have an awesome website to provide information to customers including products and services, support and to create strong brand engagement. As the OtterBox website is a critical point of contact between OtterBox and the end user of our products, the web designer plays a key role in creating and maintaining the image and online experience of OtterBox. This position focuses on the visual design, content and front-end development of the OtterBox website, microsites, mobile and other digital environments. Are you our next digital brand guru?
What you’ll do (but not limited to):
- Conceptual and visual development for online engagement as a component of broader brand campaign initiatives
- Content development for local websites
- Content and online experiential management, focused on brand engagement and consumer brand experience
- Working cross functionally with marketing and e-commerce internally
- Manage online experiential content for product launches, design changes, promotions and more
What You’re Made of: Business acumen, creativity, drive for results, planning, vision and purpose
What You Need (but not limited to):
- Experience of HTML5/CSS3 and responsive web design (3 years+ preferred)
- Experience of Javascript
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite ®
- Knowledge in UX/UI design practices for responsive design
- A/B Testing
- Conceptual and visual design experience for brand activation
- Ability to develop user profiles, user stories , task flows and information architectures •
- WordPress Integration a plus
- Ability to quickly learn new programs
- Ability to adapt quickly in periods of rapid change
- Knowledge of current web design trends and passion to keep current with trends
