Hudson IT & Telecoms are seeking a Senior Software Support Developer for a permanent role in North Dublin.

Skills in supporting Software applications and some development experience required.

Purpose of the job

To Assist with problem solving of system issues and also to assist with new development work in bespoke system.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

* 4 years commercial experience of supporting, troubleshooting, bugfixing and some development in required technologies:
* SQL Server/TSQL
* VB.Net (or exposure to VB.Net with experience in other Object Orient languages).
* Experience with the following would be an advantage:

* Crystal Reports
* Visual Studio

* Excellent written and spoken English
* Degree in Computer Science (Computer applications)
* The role is a hands-on role, requiring good communications and technical skills.

Hours of Work:

* The department works from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work during these hours, one of two shifts, 7-3.30pm, 10.30-7pm. Due to the nature of the work, you maybe required to work outside these hours.
* You will also be required to be available for weekend hours/out of hours support on a rota system, generally one weekend in 8.
* Full Irish drivers license required
