Hudson IT & Telecoms are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst for a one year FTC based in Dublin City.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be working on designing, implementing, integrating, testing and maintaining the MIS system. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be working on designing, implementing, integrating, testing and maintaining the MIS solution.
The developed system is an enterprise wide product that has high visibility across the organisation.
The Business Intelligence Analyst responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
* Requirements capture from stakeholders.
* Design , development and test of data warehouse models.
* Design, development and test of dashboard solutions.
* Troubleshooting of existing deployments.
The following are the key skills required:
* Proficient in Data Warehousing Dimensional Modelling and OLAP principles
* Knowledge of enterprise reporting solutions such as OBI EE, Business Objects or Cognos.
* Proficient in SQL/PL SQL
* Bachelors BSc in Computer Science or similar related field.
* Experience in working with leading ETL solutions such as ODI and Informatica.
* Proven strong data skills, preferably using Oracle technologies.
* Familiarity with Financial Applications is an advantage.
* 5 years as a Data Warehouse Engineer with experience in integrating, deploying and managing complex Data Warehousing ETL solutions.
As this is a leadership role, it is extremely important the job holder has excellent communication skills. They must be comfortable relaying complex technical information to team members and business end users.
