Head of Data Science opportunity with an expanding Data Innovation hub in Dublin City centre. Our Client creates a suite of AI products for large enterprises across a diverse portfolio of sectors. They access a wide source of business data from across the globe, which offers a unique opportunity to design, lab-test and trial scalable business solutions in a reliable and secure environment.
 
This is a unique opportunity to joining a growing business and help build and successfully deliver cutting edge AI products and Data and AI services. Its hybrid working from Dublin City Centre office (2-3 days / week). Salary guide is c140-150K + 20%
 
Responsibilities

- Lead the DS team from a technical perspective
- Help in career growth, training etc
- Research and define the best ML/AI technique to implement in each product
- Apply AI to each product in all the possible aspects
- Handle the relationship with technology partners such as Databricks and Microsoft to ensure the latest AI tools available are being used.
- Engage with other partners and universities
- Work closely with Product and delivery teams
- Keep up with the latest AI news and technologies to become early adopters and suggest new uses of AI to customers.
- Hands on DS work with Python, Databricks or similar tooling

 
 Requirements

- Extensive Data Science background
- Be able to lead the team in terms of Production best practises
- Experience in full end to end AL / ML product development
- Still “hands on” technical manager who still directly involved in development work (up to 50%) - Python, Databricks or similar tooling
