Staff Data Engineer
Dublin 2 (Hybrid, onsite 2 days p/w)
Up to €110K p/a + 10% bonus, healthcare, 5% pension etc

This is one of Ireland’s most successful tech startups in recent years.. a well-established and extremely highly regarded SAAS company (close to 200 staff) with a high performing tech/product team operating out of Dublin.   
 
This could be ideal for a Senior Data Engineer looking to progress into a Staff Level role. They need to add real expertise in the team (currently 3 data engineers), their data setup currently isn’t where they need it to be… you would be evaluating this and leading the efforts of moving away from it essentially.   
 
You will have a huge amount of ownership here, liaising everyday with the CTO, having a say in key architectural discussions, building dashboards, working with the AWS stack etc (AWS Glue, AWS Athena). Nice benefits on offer, great working environment, and you’ll be surrounded by some top engineers.
 
 
What we’re looking for..

- Likely 8+ years’ experience with Data Engineering expertise.
- AWS expertise (Glue, Athena in particular)
- Experience with Spark & SQL.
- A strong communicator, able to lead a team.
- Experience working in a SAAS company.
