Irish software development company building next generation web and mobile applications have a new opening for an experienced Java Spring web engineer to work on building the next generation of product using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Grails, JVM, JBoss, Tomcat, SOA, Linux, Oracle, Junit, XML technology stack.
Working in an agile rapid development environment converting business concepts into software applications in a flexible & dynamic environment requires an experienced engineer who can work with minimal management and is able to confidently debate architecture and technology choices.
Dublin city centre based position;
Role / opportunity:
• Java J2EE technical architect and developer
• Building web and mobile applications
• Enhancing existing applications and research and development for next product release
• Taking ideas from concept to completion
• Working with a team of 4 Java developers
• Determining the use of tools and utilities
• Mentoring less experienced software engineers
• Technical environment: Java, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, XML, SOA, Linux, Oracle
• Ability to communicate to senior stake holders and stand over design and development choices
• Dublin city centre location
Skills / experience:
• 8 years experience designing and developing Java applications
• Experience of architecting and building scalable web and/or mobile applications
• Technical background of: Java, Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, XML, SOA, Linux, Oracle
• Inquisitive thinker willing to try new things
Package:
• Euro 65,000 – 75,000 salary
