VB.Net Analyst Programmer

VB.Net Analyst Programmer required for Financial Services Client in the City Centre.

This role will involve working in the Application Development team designing, developing & supporting business applications.

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

•Minimum of 5 years VB development experience;

•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft .NET environment including VB script & desktop application development;

•Excellent knowledge of SQL and/or Transact SQL;

•Experience using relational database technologies ideally SQL Server and Oracle;

•Experience developing client & end user based reports based on Windows technologies;

•Experience of Data Warehouse technologies.

Key responisbilities:

•Documenting business & technical requirements in specific areas;

•Proposing technical solutions to resolve/alleviate business problems;

•Working with business users to ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed in a timely manner;

•Liaising with product vendors on product upgrades & new features.
