Telecoms Network Solutions Architect

Our Client, based in Dublin, a leading Irish ICT industry branded organization, is setting up and IT and business consulting enterprise and looking for a number of Snr Network Infrastructure & Apps and Security Professionals/Specialists to work as Snr Consultant/Technical/Solutions architects

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assessing and understanding customers’ current wired/wireless LAN and WAN topologies, remote office and worker architectures, and assessing and diagnosing security design and performance issues. And will also develop future state network and information security architecture strategies with the associated network and application transition plans.

Key skills:
• Ideally you will have at least 5 – 8 years market industry experience, with experience in a consultancy or client-led environment.
• Experience in the development of security policy, threat and risk assessment, security monitoring and management AND proficiency at the security implications/possibilities beyond layer 2/3 (i.e.at layer 4 (transport) – 7 (application)) in the OSI model.
• Exp of as ISO/IEC 2700x/BS7799, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), SAS70 or BS25999 is also sought.
• ITIL , COBIT or CISSP exams a distinct advantage
• Experience with IP Sec, PKI or application layer SSL design and implementation would also be an advantage.
• Voice and Data Networks
• Cisco/Nortel Network Equip
• IOS Netflow or IP-SLA interpretation or WAN Optimisation Controllers (Riverbed or Juniper)
