Technical Analyst-Contract

Contract role available currently in the City Centre for a Technical Analyst.
My Client a financial services client are looking for someone with the following skills:
Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems preferably to MCSE level. At least 2 years experience supporting Active Directory and Exchange 2000.
At least two years experience supporting Cisco based network environments.
Proven track record of performance.

Job Responsibilities:
Take responsibility as a member of the group for all hardware and associated equipment within our current offices and any future ones.
Responsible for troubleshooting and escalating problems to our external provider for our communications and security equipment (routers, switches, firewalls etc.).
Work across all parts of our technical operations group (including support activities, design of new solutions, implementation of solutions, and testing).
Responsible for troubleshooting and escalating Software problems to our external vendors and liaising with them to ensure resolution.
Work on the design and implementation of new parts of our technical infrastructure.
Responsible for the upkeep and creation of all technical documentation within the areas of responsibility.
