Systems Support Analyst

My Company based in the City Centre requires a Systems Support Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Top Financial Services Company.

The successful candidate must have:
Preferably hold an IT qualification i.e. BSc, B Tech etc.
Exposure to working in a Financial organisation and / or an understanding of financial markets an advantage.
Should demonstrate a high level of IT proficiency and possess a basic understanding of database structures.
2 Years + Previous experience in a systems support / Help Desk role essential.
Previous experience working in a back office Investment is an advantage
Management environment would be a major advantage.
Microsoft Access, SQL & Visual Basic experience essential.
Previous experience in supporting in-house designed VB, MS Access & Sybase designed App’s an advantage.
Must have a high degree of adaptability and be able to work on own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
to provide front line Software Support and problem resolution for all local and remote users of Tier 1 applications
To effectively manage and support all In-House Designed Applications on MS Access, VB 6 / .NET & Sybase Applications, SQL Server, Biztalk, Reporting Services, Autosys, Crystal Reports which falls under IT responsibility.
