Solutions Architect

Our client a Software Provider within the Financial Services sector requires a Technical Architect responsible for working on the delivery of their solutions to their blue-chip clients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide hands on implementation and technical advice to colleagues, partners and customers in order to ensure the successful implementation of packaged enterprise software solutions
- Strong inter-personal and client facing skills with strong troubleshooting techniques
- Experience in product configuration and Unix/database scripting and in debugging and problem solving.

Required Technical Skills:

- An understanding of J2EE tuning and diagnosis tools such as pmat and the other standard java stack tracing tools (principles/understanding of J2EE architecture vs. specific tools)
- RDBMS experience, Oracle, DB2, SQLServer, Teradata
- Middleware / Messaging technologies
- Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Solaris, Linux (shell programming)
- WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat
Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing technologies
- Skills in UNIX/ Java deployment
