Senior Tester needed

Role: Software Tester needed for expanding company
Our client is a software development house that provides software solutions to the financial sector. They have an urgent requirement for a senior software test engineer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be working within the product development area and will have a keen interest in the full testing lifecycle and testing process.
As financial experience is not a requirement, this is an ideal opportunity to gain excellent experience with this sector. You will also have the opportunity to interact with external clients and gain an insight into their business.

Opportunity:

• Mentoring and guidance to junior testers
• Software testing based on best practices
• Developing test cases and executing test plans
• Participate in meetings with Development teams, Business Analysts and Project Managers

Experience:
• 3+ years software testing experience
• Knowledge of rational databases (Oracle, SQL Server or DB2)
• Experience with industry best practice testing methodologies
• Exposure using automation testing tools, preferable WinRunner or Rational
• Proven experience in end user testing of enterprise thin client software application
• Excellent communication skills at all business levels
• Ability to work within a team
• Financial services experience is an advantage

Remuneration:
• €40,000 - €50,000 or beyond for the right experience
