An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Java Developer in North Dublin.

My Client a Financial Services Company are looking for an experienced developer who has skills in the following areas;

3 or more years of programming and industry specific (insurance/ financial services) business experience.
Requires understanding/ experience of multiple programming languages and applicable tools, interfaces and applications especially Java, Javascript, Struts, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, XML and Web Services.

Technical training, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Participation in planning sessions with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyse requirements, assess feasibility of solution, and the development of detailed requirements.
Creation of technical specifications, design recommendations, programs per written technical specifications.
Solution feasibility assessment and design.
Translation of business and technical requirements into application modules.
Adherence to accepted application design and development methods, procedures and quality objectives utilizing the development framework and best practices where appropriate
Development and maintenance of business relationships with colleagues in corporate departments and function resulting in greater understanding of business.
