Release Engineer

My Dublin based cleint is looking for a Release Engineer to join their successfull company in Dublin City Center



The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaing and updating their automated build, unit test and deployment environment.


Day to day responsibilities

Maintain source control system


Maintain, update, and resolve issues with their automated build, test and deployment scripts for their website, web services and databases.


Responsible for pushing releases to their test deployment environment which comproises multiple servers and system configurations


You must also be able to understand the intricacies of the build and test process, to rapidly determine the sources of problems, and to get issues resolved promtly in a rapidly developing code base.


Requirements

3 years experience in software engineering, release engineering and/configuration management
3 years experience with source control and version conrol systems.
Experience with build management tools (msbuild, ant)
Experience with building C# and ASP.NET applications, web services, web pages
