QA Lead

Our successful client based in South Dublin (the company is based 3 mins walk from the dart station) is currently looking for a QA Lead / Manager to come on board and manage a team of 5 testers.

The role:

Review, update and execute test scripts
Lead a team of 3 - 5 testers
Web based testing
Client server testing
Divide the work load between team members
Resolving testing problems as they arise
Test and deliver patches to existing code up to an including release to technical support
Assist with development of performance test strategy & planning
Escalated risks and issues where appropriate.
Implement test plans together
Review and provide recommendations on business procedural documentation.
May be required to perform first round interviews of QA applicants as the team grows with time

Requirements:

Prior QA leadership experience
Testing experience in the following areas: functional, integration, performance, stability, system, stress, user acceptance and load testing.
Comfortable dealing with developers and business analysts
Experience testing within a software product based company is highly desirable.
