Project Manager (Infrastructure)

This is a six month contract for a Project Manager with a solid infrastructural background. Solid rates on offer.
Infrastructure Project Manager

You will be the team lead for the project management group responsible for delivering major ICT Infrastructural projects at our client site.

Your role will include the following major responsibilities and challenges:

●Generate and own the project and quality plan


●Be responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for projects

●Manage the overall project plan, resources and the quality of the deliverables including:

●Creation of project team(s) and appropriate management structure

●Leading and coaching the project team throughout the project lifecycle

●Alignment with the overall Programme/Project standards, methods and reporting requirements.

●Risk, issue and action item management

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

●Educated to degree level in a technical discipline


●Formal certification in a project management is mandatory

●Practical experience of using project management methods is essential

●Substantial experience in a similar role managing infrastructural projects

●Experience of projects in the following areas UNIX and INTEL servers, SAN, LAN, Systems Integration, Systems Installation, decommissioning, consolidation projects, configuration management, change implementation planning and management

●Experience of driving process change

●Familiarity with ITIL

●People management skills

●Have a high level of business acumen
