Job Purpose: Reporting to the Enterprise Sales Director there is an opportunity for a talented, ambitious sales consultant with experience in technical account management to provide consultancy advice and technical expertise to the Enterprise team and manage relationships with key enterprise suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Management •Provide on-site assistance at corporate events •Maintain a good rapport and close working relationship with our Professional Services Team, Post-Sales support partners and strategic 3rd party product suppliers •Maintain a good rapport and close working relationship with the relevant Product Managers in the UK, Germany and Japan. •Liaise with the ISV’s to develop alliances and compatibility •Maintain a good rapport and close working relationship with the relevant Account Managers •Travel to customer sites nationwideProduct Expertise •Provide technical support and advice •Provide complex technical and mission critical solution configurations •Understand FSC general product capabilities •Assist with and provide internal technical sales training Sales •Achieve set revenue and margin targets •Provide technical assistance to the Bid Support Desk •Manage demonstrations and training •Manage account projects and roll-outs •Ensure FSC is positioned and promoted in the best light at all opportunities •Account planning support •Deliver Roadmap and NDA presentationsEssential Skills and Knowledge •Minimum 3 + years experience in a similar role •UNIX and Intel server hardware, symmetrical multiprocessing, client server computing, mission critical / data centre class computing environments •Experience in system sizing, configuration and designing solutions •Knowledge of storage solutions (Online, Nearline, SAN, NAS, Raid Subsystems, Tape Libraries etc.) •Knowledge of Solaris, Windows, LINUX •Knowledge about database systems and database architecture •IT industry awareness •Excellent communication and presentation skills •Proactive and customer focused •Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment •Experience in working with sales representatives and in selling on a technical levelShould your skills or experiences meet the above please contact Richard on 01-6705070 or email richard.rankin@elanit.ie
