Oracle DBA (Contractor)

Excellent Dublin 1 based client is looking for an experienced Oracle Production DBA with some good Development related skills for projects. This will be a 3-6 month contract paying a contract daily rate.
Responsibilities
· Primary responsibility for all production and development databases.
· Production database operations – configuration and upgrades, backup and recovery, error monitoring, problem diagnosis, performance tuning, hardware selection, storage, replication.
· Database development – all stored procedures, PL/SQL packages, application data access layers. These interfaces will include post trade functions such as risk management, profit and loss P&L, processing of clearing information to and from various clearing agents, and the general processing of various sources of industry data.
· Database design – logical and physical data modelling for OLTP, reporting and data warehouse.
