Network Solutions Consultant CCIE Voice

PRINCIPLE TECHNICAL DESIGN CONSULTANT

My client is looking for a Principal Technical Design Consultant. This individual will be highly accredited (Specifically Cisco Call Centre technologies i.e. CCVP, CIPT, CCIE Voice) and have many years experience within the industry.
Excellent candidates at the CCIE level (with many years industry experience) who are not specifically accredited in Call Centre technologies will be considered.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The role provides Design, Development & Consultancy services to internal or external clients. A role holder will typically provide two or more of these, often a combination of Design & Consultancy or Design & Development (including Integration). The role holder is responsible for the provision of technology & IT advice and services to both internal and external clients. He/she is often project-based and sometimes at customer sites or on a multiple site basis. He/she is involved in the design of networks, systems architecture, systems and the development of overall solutions but is more often involved in "modifying" or "adapting" existing designs. He/she may be charged out to customers as part of the delivery of specific projects.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

q Typically to provide a mixture of Design & Consultancy, or Design & Development professional services.

q To be a recognised authority across the organisation and externally.

q To exert company-wide impact and influence.

q To provide strategic direction / vision across business units or groups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

q Typically engineering/science degree.

q Possible chartered engineer and fellow of a professional engineering/science institution.

q Typically 15 years professional experience with 5 years senior level experience.

q Obtained industrial accreditation at typically professional/expert level in appropriate topics (Specifically Cisco Call Centre technologies i.e. CCVP, CIPT, CCIE Voice)

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

q Building & Maintaining: An expert in one or more areas, has an understanding of other disciplines and knows how they affect own discipline and vice versa.

q Applying & Anticipating: Can act as a source of advice on a variety of knowledge/skills in own discipline and how they relate to others.
