Graduate Developer role - Top Company

Graduate Developer role available for a top Financial Services Company in the City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to gain experience in the financial service sector.
The successful candidate must have:

Qualifications
• A Computer Science Diploma or equivalent qualification

Technical Knowledge
· Proven programming skills
· Good knowledge of SQL

Qualifications
A Computer Science Degree or a Degree course with a strong Mathematical and programming content would be an advantage.

Technical knowledge
Practical experience of working in a commercial development environment using SQL / RDBMS

Experience of developing in Visual Basic 6, .net (C#).

Working knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) databases – Sybase (Preferable), or MS SQL Server / Oracle.

Understanding of systems lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete program coding, debugging and bug fixes.
• Analyse and resolve help desk calls
• Liaise with the Systems Analyst/Senior Developer to ensure code components are developed as per the Technical specification
• Test system components to quality and time constraints
• Perform system testing in conjunction with other members of the team
