Data Analyst

My Dublin based banking client currently requires an experienced Data Analyst to help with the on-going Sub Prime issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for querying a number of relational databases to retrieve predetermined asset classes based on certain underlying asset characteristics and attributes.

The analyst will be required to clearly understand the underlying instruments that constitute the composition of a number of Structured Finance CDO deals. He/She will be required to analyse data results and report on market exposure, risk and impact.

The successful applicant should have a through understanding of financial instruments and will ideally have a very good grasp of the implications of the current sub-prime market conditions. 5+ years of data analysis and data mining experience is essential.
