Application Development and Support

Excellent new role just in for someone with 2 years experience in Application Development and Support
My Client, based on Dublin South Side have some very exciting projects in the pipeline and need an additional member to join the team.
Requirements:
· Must have a working knowledge of DNS, PHP, MySQL & XML
· BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
· Fluency in one or more of: Shell or Perl.
· Solid working knowledge of UNIX, preferably Linux.
· Experience in one or more of: PHP5 & C, or other object-oriented language.
· A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
· Ability to handle periodic on-call duty, as well as out-of-service requests.
· Excellent communication skills and a strong customer orientation.
· Experience with billing/financial applications a plus.
Development
· Applications development and development of client-oriented automated information systems.
Support and Maintenance
· Manage incidents and establish diagnostics around area of responsibility
· Support and maintenance of existing programs and scripts
· Database Administration
Technical Documentation
· Prepare and help in writing Technical documentation
