Graduate Controls and Commissioning Engineer required for a global company based in Dublin.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of controls engineering and will suit a graduate who will learn to collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and commission control systems.
This is a full time hybrid structure position 3 days a week in office/ 2 days remotely
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of control strategies for energy systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Managers, electrical engineers, and technicians)
- Provide technical support during the commissioning phase, including customer training and system handover.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and identify potential challenges or opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including control system diagrams, specifications, and commissioning reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience or internship in controls engineering, commissioning
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or Python is an asset.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Willingness to work shifts on rota basis
